Yinka Ayefele (Olayinka Joel Ayefele) is a well known Nigerian gospel singer, music producer and broadcaster from Ipoti Ekiti in Ekiti State. He is loved for his energetic Yoruba gospel style that carries plenty praise, thanksgiving, talking drums and that joyful dance feel many Nigerians relate with. Before he became a full time music star, he worked in broadcasting. In 1997, he survived a serious car accident that left him on a wheelchair, and that experience later became the inspiration behind his debut album titled Bitter Experience (1998). Over the years, Ayefele stayed consistent with songs that encourage faith, patience and gratitude, and he also built a strong media brand with Fresh FM, a radio network with stations across the South West.
